A weekend trip to Copenhagen =)

This is one of the best pictures I tooked during an amazing weekend in Copenhagen.

@Malika

We went to Copenhagen by car, we decided to spend the whole weekend there, so that we could go out the first day and still have the next day to visit .
PS: All the pictures in this article are taken by me (Malika).

The commun room
My friends playing Billiard
We stayed at a hostel called "Sleep in Heaven" close to the metro and about 25 min walk from the city center.
The hostel was actually really nice.

The first night, we choose to hang out in the city center to see Copenhagen nightlife,
I noticed that there were more bikes than cars, lots of bicycle parking on the sidewalks.

LEGO Shop

Guinness world of records Museum

Nationalmuseet

We visited the Nationalmuseet ( Natinal museum) which was really great, and free =)
Anyone interested in Danish history and culture would enjoy the visit, since it has
the largest collection of Danish historical artefacts in the country.

 The LEGO store.
(Pretty much everything here is made of Lego blocks)

Frederiksborg Castle

Built in the early 1600s by Denmark's greatest king, Christian IV.
Many consider this "Danish Versailles" to be the grandest castle in all of Scandinavia.
it's beautifully situated in Hillerod north of Copenhagen.
Surrounded by lake and beautiful landscaped gardens, it was absolutely gorgeous

The Royal Guard

During the week-end in Copenhague we had the chance to see the royal guard !
Hopefully I had my cell phone with me to take a funny video near Nyhavn !
Enjoy ;)
Victor.

Malika's road trip !

I've chosen to go to Denmark by car with Charly and Baptiste because I've always wanted to do a road trip, it was a great opportunity for me to experience new things and discover other cultures.

This is a map of our road trip

First stop => Brussels, the capital of Belgium.

This city is so fascinating, I was really amazed by the beauty of the monuments and the huge number of chocolate shops.

(For those who don't know me, I'm a big fan of chocolate :p )

It was our first visit to this beautiful city, so we were attentive to every detail.
Once in the center of the city, we quickly noticed that belgians have a different
style of driving compared with french people, which made charly a little bit confused.
It was so funny to hear him saying many times « it's a crazy town » !!!

With Charly and Baptiste, I enjoyed every second spent there.
Let's take a look at some pictures I've taken despite the cold weather =)

Baptiste and Charly =)

A chocolate shop =)

The next stop ==> Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands.

An other beautiful city with a different kind of monument and a lot of charming architecture.
Unfortunately, it was snowing so hard when we got there, it was difficult to see where we were going.

A cold snowy day =)

No more fast food  xD

The last stop ==> Hamburg in Germany.

This city is quite big and really nice, but a bit expensive,
I've enjoyed visiting new places I've never been before, and as usual, some pictures in order to immortalize the visit =)

Funny picture ^^

The Copenhagen Airport

To get from France to Denmark, I have decided to take the plane from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport to Copenhagen airport.

This article will describe my (sort of) short journey in the Copenhagen airport.

First, Let's have a quick look at the map :

My plane landed at terminal 3 and it took me about 10 minutes walking to the luggage retrieving area (I thought I was going to leave the airport without my bag). Something good is that you can buy a train ticket before you retrieve your luggage. After I grabbed my heavy bag, I walked off looking for the train station wich took me about 10 more minutes (had to ask for directions because I didn't know wich way was the train to Horsens). I finaly found my train and went onward to Horsens.

Here is a detailed map of terminal 3 (my train was at Spor 2):
